The SWR WorkingPro 700 was introduced in 2005 as part of the WorkingPro lineup, positioning it as an upgrade over the earlier Workingman's series with better sound quality and rackmount design. It was actively reviewed and sold through the late 2000s before being discontinued around 2010-2012 (post-Fender acquisition). A newer WorkingPro series of combo amps launched in 2024, but the 700 head remains a legacy model.
